Tawa Soya Cutlet

A crispy and flavorful soya cutlet cooked on a tawa

Ingredients

  • Soya chunks
  • Methi leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Peas
  • Gram flour
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Chilli powder
  • Pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin powder
  • Ghee/Oil (1-2 tsp)

Instructions

  1. Boil some water and soak the soya chunks for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Now, into a blender, add chopped methi leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, and garlic and blend well.
  3. Cool the soya chunks, squeeze out the excess water, and add to the blender to form a coarse mixture.
  4. Now, add in all the spices as per taste and mix well.
  5. Onto a heated tawa, spread some oil/Ghee and place the soya mixture after shaping them into cutlets.
  6. Flip to the other side once cooked and serve with spiced hung curd or masala dahi.
