Paneer Pulao

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • Garam masala (black pepper, cinnamon, bay leaf, etc.)
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup beans (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup capsicum (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup paneer (cubed)
  • 1/4 cup soya beans
  • 1 tsp biryani masala
  • 1 cup rice (soaked for 30 mins)
  • 1.2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add cumin seeds and garam masala.
  3. Stir in ginger garlic paste.
  4. Add and sauté onions and capsicum.
  5. Mix in chopped tomatoes.
  6. Add beans, mushrooms, paneer, and soya beans.
  7. Sprinkle biryani masala for flavor.
  8. Introduce the pre-soaked rice.
  9. Pour in the water (1.2 times the rice).
  10. Cook until you hear 3 whistles.
  11. Serve hot with raita on the side.
