Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup wheat flour
  • 5 tsp besan (gram flour)
  • 5 tsp ragi flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 medium-sized carrot, grated
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp carom seeds
  • 1/4 tsp black cumin seeds
  • 3/4 cup water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop green chilies.
  2. Add oil, chopped spinach, and other ingredients into wheat flour and make a dough.
  3. Cover dough with a wet cloth and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 6 equal balls, roll it, and place on a hot tawa.
  5. Cook until slightly cooked, then flip and wait until brown marks appear.
  6. Apply some oil, turn, and shallow-fry from both sides.
  7. Serve hot with curd, pickle, or chutney.
