Buckwheat (Kuttu) Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buckwheat flour (kuttu ka atta)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water (as required to adjust batter consistency)
  • 1 tbsp oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the buckwheat flour, yogurt, cumin seeds, chopped green chili, turmeric, and salt.
  2. Add water gradually to make a smooth batter with a consistency similar to pancake batter.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle a little oil.
  4. Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it into a round shape.
  5. Cook on medium heat until both sides are golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or a dollop of yogurt.
